Living Lean with Lisa

With a deep-rooted love for health and wellness, Lisa Stugart has dedicated her life to helping others achieve their fitness goals, starting with her local community and extending to clients worldwide. With her innovative Living Lean platform, her career has evolved to meet the changing needs of those seeking a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Lisa Stugart’s inspiring journey began in the picturesque setting of Northeastern Pennsylvania, near the scenic Poconos. Growing up in a small town between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, Lisa discovered her passion for health and wellness early on. At Wyoming Area High School, she became captivated by the power of fitness, sparking a lifelong commitment to well-being and physical health.

After high school, Lisa’s determination to pursue her passion led her to the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. Though her initial career plan was to enter sports therapy and rehabilitation, Lisa’s path soon took an exciting turn. She was drawn to the transformative power of personal fitness training, realizing how it could impact people’s lives in profound ways beyond the realm of athletic performance.

This newfound passion led Lisa to shift her focus and create a lasting impact on her community. In 1998, she founded VYGOR Fitness and Nutrition alongside TakeYoga Studio, both designed to support and empower individuals on their wellness journeys. Over the next two decades, Lisa dedicated herself to helping people achieve their fitness goals in a welcoming, supportive environment. Through these ventures, she built a reputation for fostering holistic health and well-being, helping her clients embrace a sustainable, active lifestyle.

During this period, Lisa was inspired by the Fitness America Competitions that aired on ESPN. These events, which showcased strength, beauty, and resilience, fueled her admiration for the world of bodybuilding. Over the years, Lisa’s passion for bodybuilding grew, leading her to compete in competitions across the U.S. She saw bodybuilding as an avenue where fitness and nutrition came together at an elevated level, pushing her to deeply appreciate the critical role of proper nutrition in achieving wellness.

In 2018, Lisa transitioned to the digital world, launching Living Lean with Lisa, an innovative online platform designed to help individuals worldwide—particularly those in their 40s and 50s—navigate the often overwhelming landscape of fitness and nutrition. Recognizing that health and wellness are deeply personal, Lisa’s mission is to offer customized, effective strategies that cater to her clients’ unique stages of life, allowing them to lose weight, build muscle, and feel amazing.

Lisa’s holistic approach centers around the importance of nutrition in achieving lasting weight loss and overall health. She promotes a balanced, sustainable philosophy that focuses on wholesome, nutrient-rich foods that align with her clients’ goals. Through personalized nutrition plans, Lisa empowers her clients to build healthy eating habits that are not only effective but also enjoyable and sustainable. For peri- and post-menopausal women in particular, her expertise offers a vital lifeline, helping them achieve lasting results and to break free from the cycle of yo-yo dieting.

One of the key elements of Lisa’s success is the Living Lean app—a comprehensive, user-friendly tool that makes fitness and nutrition more accessible, convenient, and personalized than ever before. This app allows clients to log their workouts, watch Lisa’s custom “how-to” YouTube videos, and track their nutrition with ease.

It also enables users to monitor their daily habits, track progress, and view real-time wellness and health scores, providing a holistic snapshot of their journey.

Whether clients are looking to lose weight, build muscle, or improve overall fitness, the app acts as a constant companion, keeping them on track and accountable to their goals. The intuitive design also offers nutrition plans and custom macronutrient tracking. With weekly check-ins and the ability to message Lisa directly, the app ensures that clients receive ongoing support, motivation, and guidance.

For those seeking to transform their lives, the Living Lean with Lisa app is like having a personal trainer in your pocket—ensuring that each step of the fitness journey is supported, guided, and celebrated. Clients are never on their fitness journey alone.

From her small-town roots to her far-reaching impact in the fitness world, Lisa has transformed countless lives with her innovative approach to fitness and nutrition. Her programs are more than just a path to better health; they are a partnership in achieving long-term, sustainable change.
